Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Honeyish and spicy. Palate Smooth. Nutty. Firm. Finish Faintly coffeeish. Smoky. With a slight, appetising, bitterness. Comment I have long enjoyed this whisky. It's own subtle character shines through, despite the influence of the wood being so obvious.

Dave Broom Nose Rich with some vanilla, soft fruits, dry grass and a slight dry/metallic note. Palate Crisp in the mouth to start with an attractively soft mid-palate. Slightly hard on the sides of the tongue but softens in time. Finish Tingling and a little short. Comment Attractive, quite light.
