Nose
Spirity at first then sweetness wraps up the nostrils with chocolate syrup and a touch of vanilla. A citrussy breath comes in behind. Hint of varnish. Palate
Quite balanced. Velvety texture. The sweetness is not overpowering. Spices speak up. Ginger and white pepper. Finish
Medium, dry, with a bitter edge. Comment
The sweet Demerara taste is still there but “enriched” with a spicy note.
Dave Broom
Nose
Fat and corn-sweet. Popcorn and meal. Melted milk chocolate, mango, banana milk shake. Very light spice. Palate
Just a hint of dried fruit on the start then dried pineapple and papaya. Quite simple and slightly one-dimensional. Finish
Only starts to firm here. Comment
It’s sweet...and then sweeter.
