Nose
Freshly chopped almonds. Then toasted almonds.
Palate
Oily. Lots of flavour development. Figs, peaches, prunes.
Finish
Soft, syrupy, anis, sweet.
Comment
About as robust a whisky as I have tasted from the established Canadian distillers.

Dave Broom

Nose
Light, numb, hard and a little dumb.
Palate
Hard and powerful. The alcohol dominates.
Finish
Hard and slightly metallic.
Comment
Poor. Unbalanced. In your face. Terrance and Phillip.
