Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Fruity. Rye. Smoky.
Palate
Bigger, rounder, spicier.
Finish
Spicier, drier.
Comment
Straight-ahead Canadian whisky, as I remember it from my early days as an eclectic drinker.

Dave Broom

Nose
Mellow toffee sweetness with cooked fruits, honey/syrup, apple and a whiff of camphor.
Palate
Soft, round and silky with lifted orange/tangerine notes.
Finish
Tingling. The toffee comes back.
Comment
Easy going and middle of the road, but needs another layer of complexity to lift it into greatness. Bryan Adams.
