Toffee, cooking oil and insistent smoke.

Almost herbal, with increasing peat reek.

Bold, well-balanced example, most drinkable.

Dave Broom
Nose
Direct and phenolic. Frying bacon fat, cabbage, silage, fish boxes, damp coal bunker. Some lifted citric notes, camomile. Smoke.
Palate
Young with real power and attack. The smoke appears from half way but is balanced by a sweet centre. Oily, rich, even salty (oops!).
Finish
Smoky bacon, camomile, clove.
Comment
A young cracker. Don't pass this up.
