- Light. Juniper. Blackcurrant.
- Palate
- Smoky. Sweet. Malty. Peppery.
- Finish
- Light, leafy, sweet, refreshing, therapeutic. Sea air. With water, a touch of salt.
- Comment
- All the oily, waxy, junipery, bush-like flavours of Caol Ila, but the whiff of the sea comes late.

- A lazy, sweet peatiness contains some resounding oaky elements. Finely tuned.
- Palate
- A massive blast of seaweedy iodine leaves no doubt to its origins and the follow through of delightfully sweet malt and brine is awesome.
- Finish
- Long, lingering peat lives contentedly with the drying oak.
- Comment
- Top drawer stuff that balances out beautifully, retaining a stupendous freshness for its age.
