Clean and very smoky/briny. Very pure, with light citrus and green fruits. Water puts the flames out leaving ashes, wet grass, cowpats and burnt sticks.
Palate
More ash like. Clean with a slight inkiness. Bone dry none dry and this lack of sweetness slightly unbalances it
Smoky with a distant sooty note. Smoke lingers over sweet malty aromas. Barley sugar. Marshmallow. Lemon drop. A light character, displaying an impressionist pattern.
Palate
Sweet and fresh. Smoky lemonade (if such thing existed!). Almondy. The same light character as on the nose. It is as if water had already been added.
Finish
Short but pleasant. Lots of marzipan.
Comment
A simple thirst-quenching and refreshing dram. Lightweight but this is not a complaint.
