- Nose
- Restrained. Sweet vanilla syrup. A light floral touch. Caramelising crème
brûlée. Aromas are released in tinges.
- Palate
- Very smooth and silky. Elegant, fruity. Peaches and nectarines. Drying on soft spices. Charming.
- Finish
- In the same tone. Almonds in the back.
- Comment
- What a surprising whisky. The nose is so shy that you expect a bland palate. And here you are, with a lovely array of fruity flavours. You definitely can't tell a sausage by the skin (one of my favourite expressions learnt at school !)
