Nose
Restrained. Sweet vanilla syrup. A light floral touch. Caramelising crème brûlée. Aromas are released in tinges.
Palate
Very smooth and silky. Elegant, fruity. Peaches and nectarines. Drying on soft spices. Charming.
Finish
In the same tone. Almonds in the back.
Comment
What a surprising whisky. The nose is so shy that you expect a bland palate. And here you are, with a lovely array of fruity flavours. You definitely can't tell a sausage by the skin (one of my favourite expressions learnt at school !)

Nose
Reserved at first then honey and nut with a little malt edge. Some great sweet fruits, apples and pears with spicy oak.
Palate
Very mellow, soft and gentle. Peach cobbler, vanilla ice cream and raisin malt loaf.
Finish
Long and full of vanilla and raisins.
Comment
Well balanced and easy to drink.
