- Nose
- Dry. Warm wholemeal toast with peanut butter. A little lime gives a lift. With water, some suet dumpling and a more varied citric range. A little bitty.
- Palate
- Fat, with some gentle dark fruit and milk chocolate. Water flattens slightly.
- Finish
- Bittersweet.
- Comment
- Quite simple but pleasant.

- Nose
- On the oak side. Seems young. Sawdust. Cider apples. Medlars. On time a sweet custardy note. Gets better when aerated.
- Palate
- Smooth. Stewed fruit. A fruity sweetness with this insisting oaky note behind. Water makes it astringent. Watery at midpalate.
- Finish
- Bitter. Green chewed stalk.
- Comment
- Lacks integration and subtlety. Maybe too young?
