Nose
Dry. Warm wholemeal toast with peanut butter. A little lime gives a lift. With water, some suet dumpling and a more varied citric range. A little bitty.
Palate
Fat, with some gentle dark fruit and milk chocolate. Water flattens slightly.
Finish
Bittersweet.
Comment
Quite simple but pleasant.

On the oak side. Seems young. Sawdust. Cider apples. Medlars. On time a sweet custardy note. Gets better when aerated.
Palate
Smooth. Stewed fruit. A fruity sweetness with this insisting oaky note behind. Water makes it astringent. Watery at midpalate.
Finish
Bitter. Green chewed stalk.
Comment
Lacks integration and subtlety. Maybe too young?
