Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Powerful flowering currant.
Palate
Good malt background, but the esters seem to have vanished. Add water and they come out of hiding; not the usual fruit, but peppermint.
Finish
White pepper. Dry.
Comment
Dry oloroso is a very good idea.

Dave Broom

Nose
Pretty crisp. Corn, mouthwatering malt, clean wood with a wisp of smoke.
Palate
Good balance. Juicy fruits, curry leaves, cumin and earth. Fairly light.
Finish
Biscuity, dry.
Comment
Light but attractive.
