82- Nose
- Musty. Sweet-and-dry.
- Palate
- Chocolately. Coco beans. "Cream sherry." Also meaty yeast notes. Reminiscent of barley wine or Lambic beer.
- Finish
- Very vinous. Again, the wine dominates.
- Comment
- I am totally seduced by its eccentricity and intensity. Where's the whisky? who cares? Pour me another. Bring on the chicken mole.....

- Exotic. Damp straw, nut, malt, acacia. In time there's caramel, tarte tatin, dried pear, nuts.
- Palate
- Sweet, but with a dry, grippy, undertow. Good concentration: nuts, toffee. Firms towards the finish.
- Finish
- Where it happens: hazelnut, pears, dried fruits and nut bowl.
- Comment
- A new flavour and a valid one. Well handled. Just a little grippy for me.
