Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Musty. Sweet-and-dry. Palate Chocolately. Coco beans. "Cream sherry". Also meaty yeast notes. Reminiscent of barley wine or Lambic beer. Finish Very vinous. Again, the wine dominates. Comment I am totally seduced by its eccentricity and intensity. Where's the whisky? who cares? Pour me another. Bring on the chicken mole.....

Dave Broom Nose Exotic. Damp straw, nut, malt, acacia. In time there's caramel, tarte tatin, dried pear, nuts. Palate Sweet, but with a dry, grippy, undertow. Good concentration: nuts, toffee. Firms towards the finish. Finish Where it happens: hazelnut, pears, dried fruits and nut bowl. Comment A new flavour and a valid one. Well handled. Just a little grippy for me.
