Nose
Peaty and smoky, but with a burnt and cooked character. Palate
Very dry and quite intensely phenolic. Grassy. Then some sweeter flavours. Baked plantains? Finish
Warming. Soothing. Comment
Another smoky whisky is always welcome, but I think I may have tasted this under another name.
Dave Broom
Nose
Oily. Fried mackerel, soot, seems young. Singed rope, lino. Attractive. Palate
Opal fruits hazelnut and a smokiness which picks up towards the finish. Finish
Medium length. Lightly smoky. Comment
Well made, clean and balanced. Worth a punt.
