- Rich, intense. Fruity. Fig molasses. Overcooked plum jam. Prunes. Tamarin juice. Maple syrup. What an aromatic concentration!
- Palate
- Smooth at first then developing into a dry spiciness. Ginger, tabasco. Dried apricot. A smoky hint.
- Finish
- Dry, warm and lasting.
- Comment
- Quite a strong character. Uncompromising warmth. Good balanced. You need to like it hot to enjoy the dram.

- Crème brûlée, chocolate, sticky toffee pudding with dried fruit emerging mid-way, accented by citrus freshness.
- Palate
- Creamy, silky, beguiling, with crème brûlée, fruit trifle, chocolate cake, then luscious fruitiness, orange marmalade, apricots and citrus.
- Finish
- Subtle, dry oak balances creamy, fruity, citrus and chocolate notes.
- Comment
- Composed of two distinct parts that add up to an impressive and balanced total.
