Michael Jackson Nose Dry. Slightly vegetal. A hint of lime peel. Palate Oily. Cinnamon. Dusty. Finish Spicy. Aromatic. Slightly medicinal. Menthol. Comment A confusion of flavours that don’t seem to have rounded in the cask

Martine Nouet Nose Fruit by the sea … A distinct veil of smokiness subtlety hovering over a full basket of fruit (melon, grapefruit, apricot) and toasted almonds. Palate Oily and silky. Sweet, mellow, candied quinces and orange. Dried seaweed. Drying, smoky notes. Finish Warm, spicy with a touch of hot pepper and curry. Caramelised almonds. Comment Sauternes adds fruity mellowness without obstructing the splendid sea influence. A real beauty.
