Nose
Rather bland at start. Cheers up on a fruity note. Apples in caramel. Touch of freshly cut grass. Palate
Sweet, too sweet. Again, a Demerara rum flavour hides the cereal notes. Drying on hot spices. Finish
Slightly bitter, grippy. Comment
The nose let expect a more original profile. Lack of balance. Too much of that “rummy” sweetness.
Dave Broom
Nose
Iced gem biscuits. Slightly hard. Lemon and linoleum. Cereal notes and a touch of the farmyard. Overall it’s lean. Palate
Seems to split in the mouth. Hard on the start, then clamps onto the palate before light chocolate. Becomes fruitier towards the finish. Finish
Berry fruits. Comment
Decent structure saves it.
