Nose
Light and mild. A delicate citrussy note. Touch of lemon posset. Palate
Fruity like a bowl of mixed sweets. Hint of liquorice. Nice lingering spiciness. Finish
Dry, spicy, nutty. Comment
Avery pale whisky, tastes young but has got a fresh citrussy elegancy which would make it a nice dram to be enjoyed on a summer evening. Why not on the rocks?
Dave Broom
Nose
Very light nose with a hint of lemon and some rye flour but fairly insubstantial. Fragrant with water. Oak is firm and dry. Immature. Palate
Limeade, quite grippy and tight and quickly runs out of steam. Strangely like a young Jamaican rum, all perfume and attack. Finish
Slightly metallic again. Comment
A wraith of a whisky. The spirit is OK, the cask has let it down.
