- Nose
- Light and mild. A delicate citrussy note. Touch of lemon posset.
- Palate
- Fruity like a bowl of mixed sweets. Hint of liquorice. Nice lingering spiciness.
- Finish
- Dry, spicy, nutty.
- Comment
- A very pale whisky, tastes young but has got a fresh citrussy elegance which would make it a nice dram to be enjoyed on a summer evening. Why not on the rocks?

- Nose
- Very light nose with a hint of lemon and some rye flour but fairly insubstantial. Fragrant with water. Oak is firm and dry. Immature.
- Palate
- Limeade, quite grippy and tight and quickly runs out of steam. Strangely like a young Jamaican rum, all perfume and attack.
- Finish
- Slightly metallic again.
- Comment
- A wraith of a whisky. The spirit is OK, the cask has let it down.
