Dave Broom
- Nose
- Firm with grippy oak. Slightly hard underneath with some fruits trying to break through quite grippy wood. Green oak/freshly laid decking then some vanilla and the resinous note also seen in 451.
- Palate
- Very soft with full oakiness and a slight nuttiness. Red fruits and cherry.
- Finish
- Oaky.
- Comment
- This is all about the wood and while I can see the commercial interest this is just an interesting experiment that's been bottled. Personally, I prefer it in refill and am willing to wait.

- Very closed at first, just gentle vanillas, soft dark sugar. Hints of oak spices, cinnamon and a herbal quality.
- Palate
- Big oak vanilla spices. Toffee and cream.
- Finish
- Lush and rich.
- Comment
- This is the start of something good.
