- Slightly smoky.
- Palate
- Sweet, then woodily dry. With water, creamy and much improved.
- Finish
- Lemon tarts.
- Comment
- I thought this whisky had died in the bottle, but water brought it back to life.

- Attractive and malty with dry grass, cooked fruit, apple pie (and pie crust) and orange. Mature, but crisp and toasty.

- Sweet as a nut with Highland toffee, a hint of peat and crisp malt.
