Nose
Turkish delight. In a small wooden box, as favoured by posh shops.
Palate
Scenty, oily. Marshmallows. Rosewater.
Finish
Toasted coconut. Dusty icing sugar.
Comment
I have always rated Littlemill more highly than most tasters do, but stocks are getting past their best.

Nose
Malty, leathery (the smell of a new wallet), soft fruit, and with water, increasing wood. A love or hate aroma.
Palate
Juicy, almost Irish in style: peaches, orange juice, crisp oak and malt. Still leathery.
Finish
Cigar and sweet fruits.
Comment
Pretty woody but has a certain rough-hewn charm.
