Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant smoke, light tar, wet grass, burning fish boxes. In time there’s Old English marmalade and fish oils and a hint of seaweed. Palate Immediate thrust of smoke with lots of oil, leather, plum and a vanilla smoothness. Long layered and balanced. Finish Superb length. Comment Here we go again...Caol Ila hits the nail on the head yet again.

Arthur Motley Nose Youthful and intense with plenty of peat, wet grass and fish oil. Palate Dark chocolate and sweet vanilla. Earthy and grassy, with silky, creamy mint. Like peatflavoured bubblegum. Finish Earthy. Comment Bristling with all those flavour spikes that make the Peat Freaks grin. Like a mint choc chip and peat ice cream.
