Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Subtlety in action. Perfumes, dried apricot, aniseed, jasmine tea, dried spring flowers, green grape, marzipan.
Palate
Smooth, silky and creamy. A caress of mingled flavours. All nose promises are delivered.
Finish
Dry, spice-festooned.
Comment
Graceful and characterful. To be sipped on a midsummer starlit night. A true dancing dram.

Dave Broom

Nose
Medium-bodied and slightly floral but with a rich malty core. Water reveals a buttery richness with honeyed fruits, hot cross buns and spices.
Palate
A dry-ish start with light spice and nut, then citrus oils, hazelnut and an overall pleasant texture. Well balanced.
Finish
Dry with a touch of smoke.
Comment
Attractive rather than complex, but very attractive at that.
