Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Figs. Palate Like eating a fresh fig. Seedy. Sweet. Crystalised fruits, sprayed with sugar. Fig Newtons. Biscuity. Floury. Dusty. Falls away. Finish Stingingly warming. Comment Promises more than it delivers. Try it with sweet Turkish coffee or espresso.

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant. Icing sugar, freesia, lemon, wood shavings (becoming like balsa wood), light vanilla. Hint of plasticene behind. Becomes drier, but still with cut flower stems, jasmine. Palate Very sweet. Gooseberry, green apple, just ripe melon. An interesting mix of fragrant flowers, light spice and firm oakiness. Holds well in glass. Finish Slightly grippy. Comment Fragrant and fine. A Caperdonich? I’m amazed.
