- Nose
- Figs.
- Palate
- Like eating a fresh fig. Seedy. Sweet. Crystalised fruits, sprayed with sugar. Fig Newtons. Biscuity. Floury. Dusty. Falls away.
- Finish
- Stingingly warming.
- Comment
- Promises more than it delivers. Try it with sweet Turkish coffee or espresso.

- Nose
- Fragrant. Icing sugar, freesia, lemon, wood shavings (becoming like balsa wood), light vanilla. Hint of plasticene behind. Becomes drier, but still with cut flower stems, jasmine.
- Palate
- Very sweet. Gooseberry, green apple, just ripe melon. An interesting mix of fragrant flowers, light spice and firm oakiness. Holds well in glass.
- Finish
- Slightly grippy.
- Comment
- Fragrant and fine. A Caperdonich? I'm amazed.
