- Nose
- Nutty and cakey. Walnut oil. Fresh orange peel.
- Palate
- Oily, nearly viscous. Dried apricot. Roasted pinenuts. Candied chestnut. Toffee, mocha ice cream.
- Finish
- Warm, sensuous, so elegantly satisfying. Liquorice and chestnut again.
- Comment
- This jewel is bursting with life and joie de vivre, like a bright aromatic rainbow. Want a wee refill?

- Nose
- Lifted and elegant. Spicy. Citric. Malty notes along with toffee. Grows in the glass. Complex.
- Palate
- Gentle yet broad and mouth-filling with orange peel, balanced oak. A clever, subtle package with a surge of flavour on the finish.
- Finish
- Long, oaky, fantastically complex.
- Comment
- More lifted than others of this age. Just has the edge in terms of complexity and balance.
