Nose
Peach or orange blossom. Lemon. Hazelnuts. Palate
Pancakes with cream. Orangey. Buttercups. Herbal. Finish
Tingly dryness. Comment
Delicately balanced. Clean. Drinkable. There is an element of luxury, but never quite the frisson of luxury that the marketing implies.
Dave Broom
Nose
A little soapy without water, but with an attractive perfumed floral notes and a hint of tangerine. Water pulls out some butter toffee, cream and orange/mint. Palate
A lovely soft, grassy start which then opens into a lovely interplay between the soft toffee centre and the high citric notes. Good weight. Finish
Pretty short which lets it down a little. Comment
A good mouthful. OK, its not hugely demanding but a great introduction.
