- Fragrant, with that hint of nutmeg, but subtle and complex spiciness.
- Palate
- Rich, with cream and honey flavours. Reminded me of Atholl Brose.
- Finish
- Firm spicy.
- Comment
- Rounded. On the sweet side.
Dave Broom
70- Nose
- Slightly turfy nose with orange peel, saddles and dried heather but also a touch of solvent. Water makes it a little more scented-geraniums, wood polish. Pretty rich but also dry.
- Palate
- The oak is well-polished and maybe a little too upfront but there's a good mix of ripe, dark fruit and walnut behind.
- Finish
- Fruit, then dries.
- Comment
- The oak is a little heavy.
