Michael Jackson

Good firm aromatics. Fennel. Liquorice.
Malty. Sweetish, especially with water. Seville orange peels.
Fruity-spicy. Chilli-like. Explosion of spicy flavours. Hot peppermints. Pepper.
Full of flavour. Full of interest. A good, complex bottling.

Dave Broom

Oily/beeswax, dried tropical/citric fruits, honey. Water brings out waxy oiliness, the (nice) smell of new welly boot. Exotic, individual.
Drier and crisper than expected, the oak merged well with light smoke and oiliness. Great balance. Really delivers. Succulent but dry.
Dry, light pepper, becomes gentle.
Wonderfully textural, sexy, dangerous. Unconventional beauty.
