Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Good firm aromatics. Fennel. Liquorice. Palate Malty. Sweetish, especially with water. Seville orange peels. Finish Fruity-spicy. Chili-like. Explosion of spicy flavours. Hot peppermints. Pepper. Comment Full of flavour. Full of interest. A good, complex bottling.

Dave Broom Nose Oily/beeswax, dried tropical/citric fruits, honey. Water brings out waxy oiliness, the (nice) smell of new welly boot. Exotic, individual. Palate Drier and crisper than expected, the oak merged well with light smoke and oiliness. Great balance. Really delivers. Succulent but dry. Finish Dry, light pepper, becomes gentle. Comment Wonderfully textural, sexy, dangerous. Unconventional beauty.
