Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Hint of the sea.
Palate
Textured, sweet, mustardy, iron iodine salty. Very lively. Lots of flavour development. Light but warm smokiness.
Finish
Salty. Long. Stinging. Very appetising indeed.
Comment
The true maritime taste of Clynelish.

Jim Murray

Nose
Wow! Sumptuous barley, healthy smokiness.
Palate
Fat and fantastic! Lovely honey sweetness.
Finish
Long and continually malty with some soft smokiness lingering.
Comment
A full-blooded Highlander. Another gem from a usually first-class bottler.
