Michael Jackson Nose Earthy. Surprising suggestions of smokiness. Palate Very firm. Steely Hints of charcoal in the flavour. Roasted peppers. Chilli. Finish Very Warming. Comment Remarkably flavoursome and enjoyable for a blend of grain whiskies.

Jim Murray Nose A classic amalgamation of prime and old grain. Very sexy, indeed. Palate A crisp, clean mouth arrival. Finish Oaky tones fill the spectrum from cocoa to vanilla. Comment Quashes the theory that grain whisky cannot be taken seriously. Marvelously complex, surely containing the fabulous Cambus. The first classic of its genre.
