Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Vanilla. Green herbs. Aromatic. Dry.
Palate
Sweet limes. Leaf mint. Woodruff. Resiny. Oily.
Finish
Dry. Soothing. Long. Gently warming.
Comment
Plenty of attack, but straightforward rather than complex. Suggested as a base for cocktails. I'll work on that...

Dave Broom

Nose
A light, fresh nose with touches of cereal, lemon, apple and a sandalwood-like spiciness.
Palate
White chocolate and almond, banana, lemon. Decent mouthfeel with soft grain and balanced wood.
Finish
Spicy/ginger nut, biscuity.
Comment
The nose is a little unrewarding but the palate has a delicate refreshing quality that lingers nicely.
