- Nose
- Light and (bar the fact its smoky) slightly thin. Becomes exceptionally rubbery – inner tubes/tyre fitting garages, burst balloons.
- Palate
- Inevitably it's smoky –reminiscent of oak chips in a home smoker. Becomes slightly fungal and then the rubber note returns. There's sweetness in the centre but it's almost completely masked.
- Finish
- Greasy –a very late cut ... ?
- Comment
- Way, way too young.

- Nose
- Phenolic. Rubbery. Burnt tyre. Wet moss. Humus. A grassy note behind the peat. Dry hay, honey. Lemon peel.
- Palate
- Sweet then shifting to a dry spicyness. A farmyard flavour. Milk parlour ?
- Finish
- Short, malty.
- Comment
- A peatier than usual Connemara? Young obviously but well mannered
and lively.
