- Nose
- Oaky. Wet floor. Cider cellar. Opening on barley sugar. Touch of sultanas. A
slight sulfury note. Distant peat.
- Palate
- Oily. Oak speaks out. Getting drier, with a bitter note. A spicy festoon.
- Finish
- Crisp,dry. Nutty.
- Comment
- Needs time to cheer up. A rigid oaky profile. Surprisingly, water softens it.

- Nose
- Initially a cherry sweet hit followed by oak and barley. A little balsamic note
with a nutty quality.
- Palate
- Masses of spices and oak grip. The peat comes late on.
- Finish
- Sharp and swift.
- Comment
- A lovely twist on the usual bottling. Great for a cold night.
