Nose
Oaky. Wet floor. Cider cellar. Opening on barley sugar. Touch of sultanas. A slight sulfury note. Distant peat.
Palate
Oily. Oak speaks out. Getting drier, with a bitter note. A spicy festoon.
Finish
Crisp,dry. Nutty.
Comment
Needs time to cheer up. A rigid oaky profile. Surprisingly, water softens it.

Nose
Initially a cherry sweet hit followed by oak and barley. A little balsamic note with a nutty quality.
Palate
Masses of spices and oak grip. The peat comes late on.
Finish
Sharp and swift.
Comment
A lovely twist on the usual bottling. Great for a cold night.
