- Nose
- Beeswax. Flowery.
- Palate
- Orange flower water. Jaffa Cakes. Good malt background.
- Finish
- Cocoa powder.
- Comment
- A nostalgic reminder of the Lomond still, though I had forgotten it could produce such sweet whisky.

- Nose
- Fragrant to start, then becomes increasingly oily and rich: cloutie dumpling, cooked fruits, spices, syrup; then saddle soap, coffee, nut and light camphor.
- Palate
- Generous, thick and smooth with an oily feel and overall sweetness. Golden syrup.
- Finish
- Nutty and oily. Empire biscuits, almond.
- Comment
- It ain't subtle, but it's well worth trying.
