Michael Jackson
Nose
Smoky. Lightly peaty. Dry.
Palate
Oily at first, becoming lightly smoky, then a gritty minerally character.
Finish
Earthy, smoky dryness and a lingering suggestion of iron.
Comment
A substitute for the much-missed Talisker eight year-old? Perhaps, but neither as complex nor as robust.

Nose
Malty and crisp. It seems pretty young with hard, lean immature notes of crab apple, unripe pear and light smoke.
Palate
Softer and sweeter than the nose suggests.
Finish
A little hard.
Comment
A straightforward young dram.
