- Nose
- Warm nuttiness. At length, sea air.
- Palate
- Surprisingly big body. Emphatic. Marshmallow maltiness. Lots of flavour. Toffeeish Port notes add a whole new dimension to the estery, fruity subtleties of Bruichladdich.
- Finish
- Gentle blend of fruits and spices. Pepper comes into play.
- Comment
- Very appetising. Long, lingering.

- Nose
- Sweet. Wine gums, cranberry, raspberry ripple and light oak.
- Palate
- Again, a sweet, winey, start with some mushed up strawberries/raspberry sauce. The malt fights back mid-palate...
- Finish
- ...but back comes the port.
- Comment
- The Port has the upper hand here. Unbalanced.
