Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Cedar. Boxes of dim sum. Palate Cereal grain. Egg fried rice. Macaroon on rice paper. Finish Sticky rice in banana leaf. Green tea. Comment Always a complex whisky, hard to pin down. This sample seems to have triggered an oriental mood.

Dave Broom Nose Lightly oily note. Floral with soft fruits. Sandalwood, hint of compost, rhum shrub, mace. Succulent, sweet and aromatic. Palate A nutty shell which cracks open, giving up a burst of flavour, mandarin, sweet spices. Lively, energetic. Light oaky notes. Finish Juicy and long. Comment A demonstration of how good this distillery can be.
