Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Fresh, ripe, sweet, apples (a burnished gold, like the whisky). Mouthwateringly appetising. Palate Perfumy. Expressive. Rounded. Greets with a firm kiss. Intense. Pastis. Crèpes. Tarte tatin. Clovey. Finish Spicy but very gentle. Caressing, soothing. Comment A delicious after-dinner malt.

Dave Broom Nose Light, creamy and sweet. Toast, vanilla ice cream, basil/anise, butter and sugar folded together. In time a note of pewter and bracken. Palate Gentle and light, though leaner than the nose. Tight grippy oak, glimpses of peach between the slats. Fine grip. Cashew nut with water. Butter. Finish Softens slightly, custard. Comment Well balanced if just a little oaky.
