- Nose
- Butter. Shortbread.
- Palate
- Lots of flavour development. Slowly revealing layers of spiciness. Lemon zest. All spice. Ginger. Expressive, diverting.
- Finish
- Teasing waft of smokiness on the tongue.
- Comment
- Delicious, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

- Nose
- Autumnal. Old leather, gun oil, dried flowers with a lift of raspberry. Rich, burnt/roasted meaty notes with treacle and light smoke.
- Palate
- Seems old. Truffles, smoke, Seville orange peel, antique shops, leather and a Sunday roast on the table.
- Finish
- Long and balanced.
- Comment
- The wood is ever present but it is working in harmony with the spirit – which has the depth of character to cope. At its peak.
