Michael Jackson

Nose
Butter. Shortbread.
Palate
Lots of flavour development. Slowly revealing layers of spiciness. Lemon zest. All spice. Ginger. Expressive, diverting.
Finish
Teasing waft of smokiness on the tongue.
Comment
Delicious, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

Dave Broom

Nose
Autumnal. Old leather, gun oil, dried flowers with a lift of raspberry. Rich, burnt/roasted meaty notes with treacle and light smoke.
Palate
Seems old. Truffles, smoke, Seville orange peel, antique shops, leather and a Sunday roast on the table.
Finish
Long and balanced.
Comment
The wood is ever present but it is working in harmony with the spirit – which has the depth of character to cope. At its peak.
