- Nose
- Very fresh. The most aromatic of the three. Pears. Cress. Pepper.
- Palate
- Light olive oil. Falls away in the middle. Then develops sweet mustardy notes.
- Finish
- Grassy, sandy, peppery.
- Comment
- The most gritty and seaweedy.

- Nose
- Amazingly green and young. Grassy and slightly tart. The oak is sweet and relaxed.
- Palate
- As mouth-watering as it gets: outwardly young at first, sweet and then the spiced oak intensifies.
- Finish
- Medium length, vanilla rich with an oaky fuzziness at the finale. Also a late barely audible echo of smoke.
- Comment
- A simple amazingly clean dram that belies its years.
