Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Very fresh. The most aromatic of the three. Pears. Cress. Pepper. Palate Light olive oil. Falls away in the middle. Then develops sweet mustardy notes. Finish Grassy, sandy, peppery. Comment The most gritty and seaweedy.

Jim Murray Nose Amazingly green and young. Grassy and slightly tart. The oak is sweet and relaxed. Palate As mouth-watering as it gets: outwardly young at first, sweet and then the spiced oak intensifies. Finish Medium length, vanilla rich with an oaky fuzziness at the finale. Also a late barely audible echo of smoke. Comment A simple amazingly clean dram that belies its years.
