Nose
Treacle, then boiled sweets and soft herbal marc notes. Hoppy with the herbal notes increasing in intensity, rather rye-like in character. Late hints of oily marzipan.
Palate
Youthful but soft herbal marc, boiled sweets, wheat flakes and chunky rye-like notes. A lovely mixture of fragrant, perfumed and lightly bitter herbal notes.
Finish
Long and funnily enough herbal! Cardamom, green wood and tannins.
Comment
Definitely left of centre. It has more than a passing resemblance to the Corsair Rasputin. For the record I love it!

Nose
nitially, very cheesy. Given a little time in the glass, some chamois leather notes come through with some lavender, some wet wood and some bittersweet earthy notes.
Palate
Really unusual. Chocolate malt, some perfumed notes and an underlying burnt toast note. Hard to place where this might be from.
Finish
Lingering chocolate malt and floral notes, with a hint of orange zest.
Comment
Some unusual flavours going on here. Just not my cup of tea, I'm afraid.
