Nose
Scented. Beeswax.
Palate
Delicate orange-blossom. restrained fruitiness: sweet oranges, cherries, port.
Finish
Flowery balancing dryness. Warming. Soothing.
Comment
Connoisseurs might miss the austerity of the original-or enjoy the added layer of fruity, winey, sweetness.

Doug McIvor

Nose
Promising, delicate orangey spiciness, fruity, toffeeish backdrop with subtle hints of madeira wine.
Palate
Full caramel and coffee textures emerge from initial floral and spicy, prickling characters. Lingering until the gentle sweetness yields to reveal more coffee, crÃ¨me brÃ»lÃ©e and soft peat.
Finish
Smooth, smoky and chocolatey. Very dry at the death.
