Nose
Light and chalky with touches of light char and just-opening green leaves, cooked pear, parma violet. A hint of sulphury depth, but somewhat elusive.
Palate
Better and a little firmer. Mossy with hints of jasmine, a little apple. The spirit's doing all the work, the cask is virtually inert.
Finish
Shows hints of promise, light smoke.
Comment
I'd want more for a 21Year Old. Disappointing.

Malty and fruity. Cereal bowl. Cooked pears. Tinned peaches. Lemonade. Opening on pastry notes. Shortcake. Hint of freshly squeezed orange. Refined and complex.
Palate
Crisp at first. A crunchy feel like taffeta. On time, rounds up. Fruit cooked in a honey syrup. With water, aniseed and candied angelica.
Finish
Smooth. Soft spices.
Comment
A characterful whisky. Fully matured, with a good balance of complexity and straightforwardness.
