Dave Broom

Nose
Positive,complex,mediu weight mixing ripe and dried fruits along with toffee. Rich with a light nutty undertow and a hint of smoke. In time,dark chocolate and raisin.
Palate
Full and fruit-filled start. Autumnal, light balanced oak, chestnuts. Crisp centre. More expansive with water with a complex rich back palate.
Finish
Light smoke.
Comment
A very fine,and underrated mid-weight malt.

Nose
A huge fragrant hit with sweet oak notes layered with a little smoke. Massively complex.
Palate
Bursts with fruit and the oak is nice and grippy. Sweet with a little smoke again but very gentle.
Finish
Long and packs in the sweetness.
Comment
Definitely one of my favourites in the range. You could explore the layers for along time.
