Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Warm. Fresh earthiness. The forest floor. Wild mushrooms. Chanterelle vol-au-vents.
Palate
Creamy. Slight accent toward maltiness, but very well balanced. Starts sweet, but develops some fruity acidity. Apricots. Apple. Fruit pie and custard.
Finish
Soothing warmth.
Comment
I hope we will be seeing a little more of Craigellachie.

Dave Broom

Nose
Straw/nut, slightly earthy, wet grass. Hint of tangerine. Slightly fuzzy with alcohol.
Palate
Pretty firm and malty. Glucose, lemon, sweet fruits in centre, dry malt on the sides. A little acidic.
Finish
Light oak.
Comment
Decent balance, but very nervy.
