Nose
Initially a little closed, but a sooty, leathery note develops first, polished mahogany, fresh mint and an earthy/turf/wet leaves note.
Palate
Quite sweet, leading into toffee, a ittle Arabica coffee and dark chocolate.
Finish
The sweetness continues into the finish, but brings with it some altogether more zesty undertones.
Comment
A little muted – not singing at full pelt, but not whispering either. Perhaps lacks a bit of direction.

Nose
Malty. Hazelnut toffee. Chestnut purée. Autumn fruit. On time, vanilla custard.A distant smoky note. Milk chocolate and toffee bar.
Palate
Round and smooth. Apples and pears compote. Muesli. Drying on soft spices. More milk chocolate.
Finish
Dry and spicy.
Comment
A well balanced dram with a good malty core.
