Dave Broom

Richer with more bracken, cooked fruit, that sultana note once more, red apple and sweet toffee alongside clove and that buttery weight. Polished with barley sugar and latte. Fresher with water.
Vanilla. Shortbread. Slightly restrained to start with with a stem ginger ice cream character slowly emerging. Deep with creamy toffee.
Gentle, long and smooth.
Elegant, smooth and graceful.

Rob Allanson

Much deeper than the 12, we are almost into leather armchair territory here. Marmalade, burnt sugar and clarrified butter. Almost a stewed fruit note as well.
A little coffee bitterness then waves of custard and cinnamon, clotted cream with spices. Sort of tablet too.
Long and wonderfully lush.
A good mid point between the 12 and the 25, well put together.
