- Mint, liquorice, anise, raisins.
- Palate
- The same components in the flavour. Against a rich, velvety, malt background. Nutty malt flavours, too.
- Finish
- Faint balancing peat and smoke. Quite long.
- Comment
- The extra years serve Cutty well. It is confident, expressive, expansive.

- Rich, muscular, sherried nose: liquorice, tar, runny treacle, incense. Water brings a light mintiness with a drift of perfumed smoke.
- Palate
- Big soft and sweet. Treacle again, this time with cold tea, chocolate orange and beautiful balance between grain and malt.
- Finish
- Long and soft.
- Comment
- Cutty with rippling well-oiled muscles. Well done!
