- Clean. Sweetish. Pronounced barley sugar. Some sherry.
- Palate
- Medium-bodied. Very smooth indeed. Clean, malty, nutty.
- Finish
- Nice balance of fragrant smoky dryness.
- Comment
- Almost too perfect. Beautifully put together, but not quite memorable.

- Spicy oak tones along with fig rolls, soft baked fruit, Dundee cake and roasted walnut. Hint of rubber.
- Palate
- Soft, but the weighty spirit holds its own pretty well against the pretty assertive wood. A big fruity boy.
- Finish
- Tight and a little tannic.
- Comment
- Substantial. One for a cigar.
