- Nose
- Tangy. A little spirity. Fudge. Caramelised apples. Vanilla and creamy notes tone the sharpness down. Polished floor. With water, rhubarb jam.
- Palate
- Much sweeter the nose let expect. An unpleasant cardboard and turpentine note. Not much behind.
- Finish
- Dry,spicy,quickly fading.
- Comment
- Disappointing. The nose has more than the palate.Less cardboardy with water but surprisingly fiery.

- Nose
- Citrusy,Lemsip powder,sherbet.
- Palate
- Sweeter than perhaps the nose suggested and fuller, with a beautiful lemon bonbon taste evolving into peach and melon.
- Finish
- Nicely balanced and very fruity.
- Comment
- Much much better than the old version.A perfect session whisky.
