- Nose
- Fresh, fragrant. Light peatiness. Late hint of sweet seaweediness.
- Palate
- Complex. Lots of flavour development. Light oily hint of seaweed, passion fruit. Lively interplay of sweetness and saltiness.
- Finish
- Sweet mustard.
- Comment
- Savoury. Summery. A picnic malt. Or eating freshly shucked oysters with Jim McEwan.

- Nose
- Almost rum-like: light spirit allied with tropical fruit/melon/zesty notes. Opal fruits and lilac. In time a hint of crystallised ginger. Fades relatively quickly.
- Palate
- Plenty of (balanced) oaky notes. Quite a thick feel with fresh fruit all the way.
- Finish
- Just a touch metallic.
- Comment
- A very pretty whisky.
