Nose
Fresh, fragrant. Light peatiness. Late hint of sweet seaweediness. Palate
Complex. Lots of flavour development. Light oily hint of seaweed, passion fruit. Lively interplay of sweetness and saltiness. Finish
Sweet mustard. Comment
Savoury. Summery. A picnic malt. Or eating freshly shucked oysters with Jim McEwan.
Dave Broom
Nose
Almost rum-like: light spirit allied with tropical fruit/melon/zesty notes. Opal fruits and lilac. In time a hint of crystallised ginger. Fades relatively quickly. Palate
Plenty of (balanced) oaky notes. Quite a thick feel with fresh fruit all the way. Finish
Just a touch metallic. Comment
A very pretty whisky.
