Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Pure, clean and fresh. Malty and minty. Green apple. Freshly squeezed tangerine. Hint of resin. Tantalizing. Honeycomb. Palate Deceptively sweet. Spices burst in a beautiful circus of warm flavours. Drier than expected from the nose but still so satisfying. Finish Dry, spicy. Toasted almond with an oaky grip. Comment A model of balance and elegancy. A first class Speysider.

Dave Broom Nose Creamy and quite simple. Lightly floral, green apple, nut, sap. Water brings out copper coins. Palate Lifted, slightly smoky (burnt grass). Firm, toasty oak, heather. Peppery from mid-palate on. Finish Hot and peppery. Nettle. Comment Seems young.
